“VIRGIL” JORDAN CASE STUDY
As a lifelong sneakerhead, I've always been captivated by the rich history and culture surrounding iconic sneakers like the Air Jordan 1. Growing up, part of the excitement of getting a new pair of Jordans was collecting Retro Jordan cards that accompanied them. These cards weren't just accessories; they were cherished keepsakes, offering a glimpse into the heritage and significance of each shoe.As sneaker culture has evolved, I've missed the small yet meaningful details like Retro Jordan cards. While Virgil Abloh's collaboration with Nike reimagined classic Air Jordans, I've felt nostalgic for those cards. Creating Retro Jordan cards for Virgil's collection is my way of honoring both the timeless appeal of the Air Jordan and the innovative spirit of Abloh's designs. These cards aren't just collectibles; they symbolize the deep love and passion within sneaker culture.
